Integrating Kentico wth Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Microsoft Dynamics offers a powerful CRM platform for your business, but its access is often limited to administrators and power users only. What if you need to expose forms, resource calendar or reports to a larger user base? Building a presentation portal on top of the CRM may be the solution, so what’s better fit than using Kentico CMS? This session explores best practices and guidelines for integrating Dynamics CRM with Kentico CMS 8.2: entities, forms, workflows, document repository, reports. Use the XRM SDK of Dynamics and interact with the Kentico API for native two-way integration between the two platforms; how to show CRM data in a Kentico site and how to collect information in Kentico and save it in the CRM. Targeted at software developers and architects, this session presents practical code examples for writing Kentico sites that integrates with Dynamics CRM using the XRM SDK, as well as design considerations for optimization of performance, security compliance and code reusability.
